“Friday can be a holy day or a day of free love that bursts forth in fervor and fraternization after long days of work,” says Jarbas Lopes. The artist collects “dance banners,” instruments used to promote parties in the outskirts of the city, and transforms them, all using the same process. However, the results are different, as they are based on different and unique banners. The edition number is symbolic: it refers to the 31 days of the month.
