In a noble interior, with walls decorated with floral motifs on one side and a kind of curtain that stretches several meters along the floor, a young woman in a doll-like pose shows off her black dress. Following the slope of the green fabric, the tulle of the dress becomes visible, meeting the vertical white tulle. The shine of the green and black fabrics becomes even more attractive, creating at the same time a materiality and a visuality that inspires the desire to touch.

Passionate about fashion since childhood, Testino studied law, economics and international relations, but it was only after moving to London that he began to get involved with photography and its relationship with fashion. The photographer, who began producing portfolios for women seeking to become models, is now the official photographer of the British royal family and his images can be seen in important fashion magazines. In addition to appearing in magazines, his photos have been published in twelve books, including “MaRio de Janeiro Testino”, “Kate Moss by Mario Testino”, “Private View” and “In Your Face”.

Mario Testino’s style of capturing exuberant moments has become legendary. The photographer has made light his main tool for exploring faces and bodies. In his images, men and women are always confident, comfortable and in love. As Testino says: “My images are my eyes... I photograph what I see and what I want to see.”
