"Betina Samaia's gaze is not interested in what can be easily perceived, her gaze seeks the hidden.

In this series 'Tuscany ' she used a camera whose parameters, specially transformed, allow the capture of a spectrum of light unattainable to our eyes. If the human eye finds limits, the diligent photographer's research paths overcome them. The refraction of infrared light in objects is captured in the images, thus proposing a new relationship between colors and tones."
