Alexandre da Cunha

b. 1969, Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Brazil | Lives and works between São Paulo (SP), Brazil and London, United Kingdom.

By contrasting and mixing materials, and by establishing dialogues between them, repertoires and objects of different origins and intended for different uses, the artist operates critically within a scale of values that unites Brazilian pop culture and modernism, decorative arts and British pop culture.
