Lucia Koch's work considers space, which may involve references to architectural typologies, but not necessarily. The fact is that architectural construction, although part of what constitutes space, is far from defining it in its entirety. What Lucia Koch best demonstrates is precisely the spatiality that passes through the built form and overflows it: luminescence, lines of visuality, atmospheric pulsation, the combination of colors and patterns; wind, glare, reflection; the movement of human bodies.
