    Multiple Pivots

Pivô is an independent cultural association that promotes artistic exchange and experimentation through exhibitions, residencies, and collaborative projects.

Founded in 2012, Pivô is a non-profit cultural association that acts as a platform for artistic exchange and experimentation from its space in the Copan Building, in downtown São Paulo.

The program is structured around commissioned projects, exhibitions, public programs, publications, and artist residencies.

In 2017, Carbono, in partnership with Pivô, launched a program of limited editions of works by artists who participated in the venue's programming, with sales benefiting the continuation and development of the institution's program. Acquiring these exclusive works is a unique way to support Pivô and contribute to the ever-expanding network of artists involved in the programming.

Since 2012, Pivô has carried out more than 40 projects, enabling proposals from more than 200 artists from 20 countries and has received more than 45,000 visitors.

In the multiple image, the bronze head of Apollo is accompanied by pigmented plaster eggs, a reference to bar eggs. The work contrasts high and low cultures and relates the duality of the Greek god to organized crime factions.
