Walter Silveira's historical poem is conceived from semantic and sonic questions, uniting different words linked to the pop culture of the late 1970s. The first visual version of the poem was created in 1978 with spray paint, becoming an iconic graffiti piece in the city of São Paulo, whose lettering has remained consistent across the various media in which the work has been reproduced. Besides being printed in poetry publications, " Hendrix, Mandrake, Mandrix" It has been previously featured in exhibitions, both as printed flags and as a neon sign.
The proposed illuminated box uses the powerful original lettering of the spray paint as a light mask that reveals the poetry.
